Off the Floor Pittsburgh is a largely volunteer organization led by an Executive Director.  Staff and volunteers work from their homes, using their own computers, vehicles and telephones.

Our major expenses are warehouse rental, truck gas and maintenance, and salaries.

The mission of Off the Floor Pittsburgh is to strengthen families, improve their quality of life, and reduce the pain and indignity of extreme poverty in the greater Pittsburgh region by recycling good used furniture and delivering it free of charge to families that otherwise would be eating and/or sleeping on the floor.
