Referral of Recipients Policy of Off the Floor Pittsburgh

The policy of Off the Floor Pittsburgh is to select recipients based on the presence of children in the home and extensive need for furniture.  Off the Floor Pittsburgh prefers not to upgrade existing furniture or to deliver only   one or two items.  It is not possible to return to a family once a delivery has been made.  Recipients are selected without regard to age, sex, religion or race.

Since July, 2009, selection of recipients is restricted to those who have been referred by one of the social service agencies which are official referral partners of OFP.  A list of these agencies is displayed in the adjacent column.  These agencies agree to the selective criteria of OFP and to identify such families from among their existing clients.

Social service agencies may apply to be considered for referral partnership by submitting the application form which may be found by clicking the link below. You will be notified if your application is successful.
